Shipping and return policies for JOHN COMMON

Shipping Info

If you have a question about your order please email letters@johncommon.com. We will answer emails in the order they are received. All emails will be answered within 48 hours, or by the next business day if the email is received on a weekend or holiday.

All online store orders will be sent within 3 business days.* Typically, however, orders are shipped the next business day. Once shipped, your order will take 1-10 business days to reach you depending on your location.

* unless your order includes a pre-ordered item. In that instance, your order will ship when the pre-order is available.

Return Policy

All returns and exchanges must be made with in 15 days of the shipping date. Free School Records accepts returns on the following items:

- damaged CD’s, LP’s, and shirts
- unopened CD’s and LP’s
- unworn and unwashed shirts
- shirts must be able to be resold. We cannot accept shirts that are in any condition that would deem the shirt unsaleable.

Please include the following:

- your name, order number and order date
- a note telling us why you are returning the item

We will credit your original method of payment less shipping charges

You may exchange CD’s, LP’s, or Shirts as long as they are in new unused (unwashed) condition.

open, defective cds can be exchanged only for same title

- a note telling us what you would like in exchange.
- be sure to include all applicable information. (product code, size, color, CD/LP, etc)
- money (in US currency) for the return shipping contingent on where you live. rates are as follows:

united states: $2 per shirt or CD, $5 per hoodie or LP
canada: $3 per shirt or CD, $6 per hoodie or LP
rest of world: $5 per shirt or CD, $10 per hoodie or LP

note: if we shipped you the wrong shirt or wrong size, we will cover the shipping.
